Jennifer Entrekin

President

Jennifer Entrekin is the mother of five active daughters; three are year-round swimmers at Dynamo, one is a competitive goal keeper and Dynamo Juniors swimmer, and the youngest is busy trying out a wide variety of sports and interests. Jennifer and her husband, John, are lifelong residents of Atlanta.

Since leaving the corporate sales work force in 2005 to focus her time and talents on family and home, Jennifer has been an enthusiastic and tireless volunteer and leader at many organizations including Church Council Chair, and Worship Chair at St. James UMC; Personnel, Ways & Means, and Board Chair at St. James Preschool; PTO Co-President at Kittredge Magnet School; PTA Co-VP at Ashford Park Elementary; and Swim Team Manager at Roxboro Valley. Jennifer enjoys serving her community and relishes the opportunity to enhance and improve the experiences of all participants, families, staff and stakeholders.

The Entrekin family has been a part of Dynamo since 2013 and looks forward to many more years encouraging and supporting Dynamo swimmers of all ages and abilities.

Staci Richards

Vice President

Staci has been part of the Dynamo family since her daughter, Lyla who swims in Senior 1, joined Age Group 3 in 2013.

She is a Graphic Designer with over two decades as a creative professional and owner of Bright Hare, a creative marketing studio, since 2017.

Staci has served on various community boards in both leadership and support roles. She served as the 2019 Dynamo Volunteer Coordinator assisting the Dynamo team in recruiting and organizing volunteers for USA Swimming US Open, USA Swimming Junior Nationals, and Southern Premier all held at Georgia Tech. Currently, she serves as an Administrative Official for Georgia Swimming to support Dynamo-hosted and state-level meets.

She is a five-time Ironman and endurance athlete.

Martin Chen

Treasurer

Martin Chen is an attorney with the U.S. Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights. The agency investigates complaints of discrimination on the bases of race, color, national origin, sex, age, disability, and equal access to the Boy Scouts of America. He has been there for nearly 30 years. He has served on the corporate board of Literacy Volunteers and is currently on the board of the fitness center in his office complex.

His three children all learned to swim through Dynamo Swim School, including one son, Aidan, who will be in Senior 1. To have something to do during swim meets, Martin became a USA Swim official in 2016. When he is not working a swim meet, you can find him logging miles with Back on My Feet, a group that helps those experiencing homelessness through running.

Martin is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and Georgia State University College of Law. He attended high school in Dekalb County. He and his wife, Erin, along with their three sons – Leighton, Aidan, and Declan, live in bucolic Dunwoody.

Sakinah Jones

Secretary

Sakinah is a healthcare attorney with Holland & Knight LLP. She assists clients with federal and state compliance in connection with regulatory, transactional and corporate matters. Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, she has advised clients on state and federal emergency orders and legislation related to the provision of telehealth/telemedicine. She also works extensively with clients on compliance with the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology’s information blocking regulation and federal and state privacy law implications.

In addition, she assists healthcare industry clients with change of ownership and other licensure and regulatory filings, as well as fraud and abuse analysis. Sakinah is a graduate of Princeton University with a Bachelor in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and is a board member on her local alumni board. She attended law school at Georgia State University College of Law and earned a Master of Science in Health Administration at the College of Business. Her daughters Isabella and Gabrielle both swim at Chamblee.

Gregg Hudock

Gregg Hudock is a Professional Engineer. He is an Associate with the firm Freese and Nichols, Inc. Gregg has a Bachelor and Master of Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. He is also a graduate of the Institute for Georgia Environmental Leadership (IGEL). Gregg is the Southeast US Dams Leader where he builds and leads teams to address the water supply and flood control infrastructure needs for local, State, and Federal clients. Gregg is the father of Emma and Ethan who both swam at Chamblee and are currently attending college. Ethan swims for the Saint Louis University Billikens. Gregg is married to Salomé. He is an Eagle Scout and when not volunteering on deck at Dynamo or Georgia Swimming meets, Gregg is active with the Boy Scouts of America.

Kathy Stephens

Kathy and her family have been a part of Dynamo since 1988. Her children began swimming at Dynamo when the 50m pool was built and it was an outdoor facility. Kathy has held various Dynamo board positions throughout the years including President. She also has served on the GA Swimming Board and on committees for USA Swimming, along with being involved in summer league swimming. She is a USA Swimming official and serves as a Meet Admin Clerk for local meets along with National Level Meets. Kathy is a RN who specializes in infectious diseases and vaccine research. She had four college level swimmers and one is currently a coach in Chicago and an Ironman Qualifier. Two other children are still involved in swimming.

Gunnar Bentz

Gunnar began swimming at Dynamo Swim Club when he was 11 years old, following in his older sister’s footsteps. He continued to swim there until 2018, when he left for college at the University of Georgia in Athens. While studying at UGA, he received a BBA in Business Management with a minor in Aerospace Studies.

He has competed in two Olympic Games, earning a gold medal as a part of the 4x200m freestyle relay in Rio 2016. In Tokyo 2020 he competed individually, placing seventh in the 200m butterfly.

He is a member of the House of Delegates and Steering Committee for USA Swimming, and is on the Board of Directors for Summer League Swimming. Gunnar feels that these outlets are a pertinent method of staying involved in a sport that gave him so much, without having to use copious amounts of dechlorinating shampoo.

Swimming aside, Gunnar currently works remotely as a Client Success Manager for Learnit, a leader in the e-learning marketspace based in San Francisco, CA. He also greatly enjoys cooking, and asserts that he has mastered the art of grilling a medium-rare steak.

Lui King

Lui King’s blood runs green and trains with Dynamo Masters and Dynamo Multisport. He completed his first full Ironman in 2021. Lui is the father of one Dynamo year-round swimmer and one Dynamo Junior swimmer.

Lui is the Co-Founder & COO of Safely, which provides guest screening and insurance for the vacation home rental industry. Prior to Safely, Lui has held operations and finance positions at RemoteDepositCapture.com, and The Home Depot. Lui began his career working as a mechanical engineer, specializing in the design of sustainable buildings.

Lui was the Treasurer and a founding board member of the Kittredge Magnet School Foundation (now the PTO Ways and Means Committee).

Lui earned bachelor’s degrees in Civil Engineering and Architectural Engineering from the University of Miami (FL) and received an MBA in Finance and Management from New York University Stern School of Business.

In his spare time, Lui swims, runs, kiteboards, and is a tireless cheerleader and uber driver for his kids.

Amy Atteberry

Amy Atteberry is part of the Oakhurst Dynamo family with two of her three children currently in the program, Grace in AG2 and Andy in AG3. She is also a Dynamo alumn, training at the Chamblee pool from 1992 through 2000 and following in the footsteps of her 5 older brothers and sisters who swam at Dynamo in the 70s and 80s (ask to see her vintage Dynamo warms ups sometime). She went on to swim collegiately at Duke University and served as team captain her senior year.

Professionally, Amy has spent her career in business and technology consulting and has worked at Slalom Consulting since 2007. At Slalom, she has served clients across the Atlanta area including Cox Communications and Delta Airlines, and more recently took a position focused on managing internal staffing operations.

She and her husband Jon are longtime residents of Lake Claire, and Amy serves on the board of her neighborhood summer league swim team, the Lake Claire Wahoo. She still decides to jump in and swim some laps herself from time to time.

Kip Coombs

Kip Coombs began his career with Speakeasy, Inc. in 1997. He is currently Chief Revenue Officer of the organization. Speakeasy is a growing 50-year-old global communication consulting firm with offices in Atlanta, San Francisco, New York, Chicago and Amsterdam, as well as ongoing operations in Boston, Dubai, London, and Singapore. The company works with executives and teams from mostly the Fortune 500 including Accenture, EY, Visa, Microsoft, and The Coca-Cola Company in developing the impact and effectiveness of their communication capabilities.

An Atlanta resident since 1973, Kip grew up just down the road from Dynamo Chamblee, attending Lakeside High School, and then on to the University of Georgia. From 1996-2006, Kip was actively involved in the triathlon community competing in over 100 multisport events, including 8 half-ironman distance events and an IRONMAN, often using Dynamo as a training facility. Kip was also active with USA Cycling, racing in the Masters category.

Married for 15 years to his wife Cindy, they are proud parents of two boys, Grayson (AG1 Gold Alpharetta) and Connor (AG2 Gold Alpharetta). They currently reside in Milton, GA.

Board meetings are typically held on the last Monday of every other month and are open to the membership. Meeting minutes are available as well: contact mike@dynamoswimclub.com if interested.
